We build foundational hardware and software for the semiconductor industry, critical AI infrastructure, and the broader systems that power our world, in partnership with the world's most advanced institutions. We work as one team across New York City, Silicon Valley (Mountain View), London, Copenhagen, and Seoul.\nThe Role\nAs an Analog Hardware Engineer, you will build the core mixed-signal technology powering our unconventional computing architecture.\nYou will design unique analog circuits, creating library cells as well as macros, to support a unique computational architecture. Working alongside silicon architecture, digital, and layout teams, you will own the end-to-end analog development from clean-sheet circuit design through parasitic extraction and silicon bring-up to unlock unprecedented throughput-per-watt.\nWhat You Will Own\nAnalog design flow methodology: lead the full analog development cycle including research, exploratory design\n\nDevelop or acquire analog IP for use in Normal Silicon\n\nAcquire or help direct analog EDA tool development\n\nEvaluation of memory designs, including SRAM, DRAM, and CIM architectures\n\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\nDeveloped analog IP from spec to GDSII in modern technologies, taped out and brought up.\n\nWorked on memory technologies (i.e. SRAM, DRAM) on core level (bitcell arrays and peripheral circuits)\n\nDesigned and characterized custom bitcells in schematic and layout\n\nFluent in the Cadence flow: Virtuoso, Spectre, Assembler, Extraction, Layout, HSMC, Characterization\n\nDeep understanding of noise and variation and their impacts on silicon performance and reliability\n\nBonus Points\nLead, taped out, brought up CIM chips\n\nExperienced and comfortable in a chip measurement environment for debug and characterization\n\nHave used AI and/or scripting languages (i.e. Python, Perl) to automate design flows and data post-processing\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nNormal Computing is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.\nAccessibility Accommodations\nNormal Computing is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please let us know at .\nPrivacy Notice\nBy submitting your application, you agree that Normal Computing may collect, use, and store your personal information for employment-related purposes in accordance with our Applicant Privacy Notice.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2888,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Processors, MCUs & AI Chips","EDA Software","AI Chips & Accelerators"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-22T00:37:55Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 1","filings_12m":1,"filings_prev_12m":3,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":262500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-15T11:24:14+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":1}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":2,"expected_fill_days":67,"reasons":["conf:0","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-24T06:02:35Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/normal-computing-hardware-engineer-analog","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/normal-computing-hardware-engineer-analog.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-24T15:17:29Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":21883,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-25T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":39034},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=39034"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fnormal-computing-hardware-engineer-analog"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fnormal-computing-hardware-engineer-analog"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fnormal-computing-hardware-engineer-analog"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/normal-computing-hardware-engineer-analog\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fnormal-computing-hardware-engineer-analog"}]}
