We foster your talent, with us you shine.\nWe are looking for a\nSourcing Specialist\nTo lead sourcing activities for electrical components supporting EQ Iisalmi operations and global spare parts. The focus is primarily on standard electric components. The position is preferably based in Iisalmi. Other locations in Finland (Tampere or Espoo) may be considered.\nMain responsibilities and tasks:\nSource electric components for EQ Iisalmi operations and global spare parts needs \nIdentify parts without an assigned supplier or trade agreement by monitoring Planned Purchase Order (PPO) for EQ Finland operations \nSelect suppliers based on established supplier strategies and identify new suppliers when needed \nNegotiate supply agreements including prices, lead times, payment terms, warranties, and buffer stock agreements \nManage annual price negotiations. Monitor cost competitiveness, supplier quality, and delivery performance. Define required corrective actions when needed \nMaintain vendor data in ERP systems within own responsibility area \nWork closely with engineering and advise the team in supplier and component selections \nCoordinate required actions following component end-of-life announcements, with engineering, production and spare parts teams to secure production and service continuity \nDefine supply strategies \nContribute to process and tool development in procurement area \nTo shine in this position, we hope you have:\nM.Sc. or B.Sc. degree or equivalent professional experience. \nAt least 2 years of experience in procurement and sourcing tasks in a relevant field. \nAnalytical capabilities and systematic ways of working with a mix of attention to detail and strategic thinking \nGood negotiation and influencing skills \nUnderstanding of Normet supplier base and capabilities \nExcellent capability to work cross-functionally \nGood networking and relationship management skills \nFluent written and spoken English \nProficient in ERP, PDM and analytical tools (e.g. Excel, using AI) \nAbility to work under pressure \nStrong knowledge of parts and part types used by Normet \nAs an employer, we support your well-being with benefits such as: \nePassi for lunch and Flex benefits (sports, wellness, and culture), occupational health care and specialist-level treatment through our work ability insurance, access to Auntie’s mental well-being services and more.
