We foster your talent, with us you shine.\nKey Responsibilities\nIndependently manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and timely completion of shipping, receiving, and inventory-related activities.\nOrganize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient storage, easy access, and optimal use of warehouse space.\nReceive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.\nAccurately enter receipts, inventory movements, and order details into ERP systems and supporting tools.\nPick, pack, and prepare customer orders with attention to accuracy and proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.\nProcess sales orders and ensure all shipments include correct documentation and labeling.\nSafely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.\nMaintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the warehouse.\nPerform routine checks and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment and report any issues.\nSupport inventory control processes, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and investigation of discrepancies.\nPrioritize daily workloads independently and communicate operational challenges, inventory concerns, or support requirements to management.\nCoordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to support efficient warehouse operations.\n\nSafety and Personal Accountability\nPromote and support Normet's HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality) initiatives in all areas of work.\nDemonstrate strong safety awareness, sound judgment, and personal accountability while working independently as the sole warehouse employee on-site.\nRecognize potential hazards and coordinate additional assistance when tasks cannot be performed safely alone.\nFollow applicable emergency response procedures and promptly report safety concerns, incidents, or near misses.\nMaintain accuracy, integrity, and compliance in all documentation and transactions.\nUphold Normet's Values, Policies, and Procedures at all times.\nAdhere to all safety requirements and use appropriate PPE.\nDemonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.\nTeam Collaboration and Development\nMaintain regular communication with management and other Normet warehouse locations to ensure operational alignment and improvement.\nParticipate in training, cross-functional collaboration, and skill development initiatives.\nSupport a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture despite working independently at the location.\nSkills & Qualifications\nStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently, manage daily responsibilities, and remain productive with minimal supervision.\nStrong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.\nSelf-motivated, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of warehouse operations.\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written.\nStrong commitment to workplace safety, particularly when working alone.\nAbility to safely lift and move up to 70 pounds, with appropriate assistance or equipment when required.\nExperience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (preferred).\nProficiency with ERP systems, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).\nValid driver's license.\nWillingness to travel occasionally within North America, if required.\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n2-3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferred.\nHands-on experience with shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control.\nExperience using ERP systems or warehouse management systems is a plus.\nProven ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement practical solutions in a warehouse setting.\nPrevious experience working independently or managing warehouse activities with limited supervision is an asset.\nAdditional Information\nThis position will be the sole warehouse employee at the Saskatoon location and requires the ability to independently manage daily operations.\nThe employee will be expected to follow all company working-alone safety procedures and maintain regular communication with designated management and support personnel.\nDuties may vary or expand as directed by management based on business
