You will work alongside top professionals in data and AI development in Finland, collaborating with global data and software teams to design impactful solutions that drive business value.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign and implement AI-enabled data architectures and solutions on modern lakehouse platforms (Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks)\nApply AI-assisted and agent-driven design and development approaches to accelerate data platform and data product delivery\nCombine data engineering, software engineering and DevOps practices (IaC, CI/CD, testing, versioning, modular design)\nDefine and enforce data strategy, governance, standards and architectural guidelines\nWork closely with technical and business teams to ensure alignment\nNurture a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing\nSupport pre-sales and solution design, contributing to customer engagements and proposals.\nWhat makes you a great fit\nExperience in designing data architecture as part of enterprise architecture and data strategy\nFamiliarity with data mesh paradigm and principles\nKnowledge of various data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouses\nExperience with cloud and on-premise data solutions using Microsoft technologies, including strong hands-on work with Microsoft Fabric (preferred) or Databricks lakehouse platforms\nHands-on experience and/or strong understanding of working with agentic AI development and software delivery methodologies, e.g. agentic swarm coding and spec-driven development.\nExperience applying software engineering practices (e.g. version control, CI/CD, testing) in data environments\nExperience on hands-on software engineering & general software architecture design is a big plus\nPre-GenAI proficiency in Python and SQL\nFluent in both Finnish and English\nWe value the following certifications\nMicrosoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate\nMicrosoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate\nDatabricks Data Engineer Associate or Professional\nAzure Solutions Architect Expert\nWhy join Nortal?\nWe value individuals not just for their skills, but also for their cultural alignment.
