The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and proactive, challenges requirements when needed, thinks deeply about risks and edge cases, and takes personal ownership of product quality. They approach software both as an end user and as a quality engineer, constantly looking for ways the system could fail and ensuring those scenarios are thoroughly tested before reaching customers.\nQualifications\nHigher education degree in Engineering or related field\n5+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer in complex software products\nStrong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and testing best practices\nProven experience in analyzing business and functional requirements, identifying gaps, ambiguities, inconsistencies, and potential risks before implementation\nHands-on experience designing comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases, including positive, negative, boundary, exploratory, and edge-case testing\nAbility to think critically from both the end-user and technical perspectives to ensure a high-quality user experience while validating business and technical requirements\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify hidden defects, unexpected behaviors, and corner cases that may impact product quality\nExperience preparing and maintaining test documentation\nExperience testing APIs, validating integrations, and performing database verification using SQL\nSolid experience with client-server applications, backend and frontend testing, regression, integration, system, and usability testing\nExperience applying risk-based testing techniques and independently determining test coverage based on product requirements and business impact\nAbility to work autonomously, take ownership of quality-related decisions, and proactively drive issues to resolution\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and investigative approach to defect analysis\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools such as JIRA\nHigh level of written and spoken English\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders\nKnowledge of test design techniques such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables, state transition testing, and pairwise testing\nExperience reviewing requirements and participating in backlog refinement and product discovery activities\nNortal offers:\n24 working days of paid vacation\n\n11 paid national holidays\n\nHealth care: up to 10 paid sick days, on-demand medical insurance, vaccinations\n\nMental health support: webinars, resources, and compensation for therapy sessions\n\nAccess to our corporate learning platform\n\nLanguage classes (English)\n\nFlexible benefits budget: a fixed monthly amount you can spend on what matters most to you -
