As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, you will lead the implementation and operation of email marketing and campaign capabilities for a banking client. The consultant will configure the platform, build and run campaigns, operate SFMC hand in hand with the client's marketing and technology teams, and deliver continuous knowledge transfer so the client gains autonomy over time. The role combines hands-on platform work with an advisory posture, always mindful of the security, privacy, and compliance requirements of a regulated financial institution.   

How your day-to-day work will look like:  

• Configure Salesforce Marketing Cloud from the ground up, including Business Units, user roles, permissions, and Sender Authentication Package (SAP). 

• Set up and maintain core Studios and Builders, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Contact Builder. 

• Design and implement the data model, including Data Extensions, data relationships, and the integration of customer data from banking source systems. 

• Establish deliverability best practices, IP warming, and domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). 

• Build responsive, brand-compliant email templates and content blocks. 

• Configure segmentation, dynamic content, and personalization using SQL queries, AMPscript, and audience filters. 

• Design and deploy multi-step customer journeys, triggered sends, and automated campaigns. 

• Implement A/B testing, tracking, and reporting to measure and improve campaign performance. 

• Operate the platform jointly with the client's team, running day-to-day campaign execution and troubleshooting. 

• Provide guidance on subscriber management, consent, preference centers, and unsubscribe handling in line with banking regulations and data protection requirements. 

• Support governance around approval workflows, audit trails, and secure handling of sensitive customer data. 

• Deliver structured, ongoing knowledge transfer through documentation, hands-on training sessions, and playbooks. 

• Progressively shift operational ownership to the client's team, reducing dependency over the engagement. 

• Establish standards, naming conventions, and reusable assets that the client can maintain independently. 

This would make you the ideal candidate:  

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Proven experience implementing and operating Salesforce Marketing Cloud in enterprise environments. 

• Strong command of Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Contact Builder. 

• Proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, and HTML/CSS for email. 

• Solid understanding of email deliverability, authentication, and data model design. 

• Experience working with sensitive customer data and awareness of privacy and compliance requirements, ideally in banking or financial services. 

• Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
