To apply, please visit our career site at www.nortekdatacenter.com.\nJob Summary\nThe Facilities Technician supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a manufacturing facility by performing maintenance, repair, and improvement of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. This role ensures that production areas, utilities, and facility assets remain in optimal working conditions to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPerform routine and preventive maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, compressed air, and building controls.\nTroubleshoot and repair equipment issues to support manufacturing operations and reduce unplanned downtime.\nMonitor and maintain facility infrastructure, such as lighting, doors, docks, roofs, floors, and structural components.\nSupport installation, relocation, and modification of equipment, coordinating with production, engineering, and outside contractors.\nRespond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation in the CMMS.\n Assist with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance, including inspections, audits, and corrective actions.\nPerform basic fabrication tasks, such as carpentry, painting, welding, or light machining, depending on skill set.\n Monitor facility utilities (water, gas, electrical, compressed air) and report abnormalities.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility reliability, energy efficiency, and safety.\nSupport emergency response efforts, including equipment failures, weather events, or facility incidents.\nWhat You Bring\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n2-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related trade.\nWorking knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.\nProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in manufacturing environments (heat, noise, heights, confined spaces).\nAttention to detail and commitment to quality.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nSelf-motivated with a focus on
