You will practice a SAFe Agile workflow by participating in daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will review and implement test requirements, support test case execution, and contribute to release validation activities. Applying testing methodologies and troubleshooting experience, you will identify defects, maintain test automation frameworks, participate in test plan reviews, and document test results and quality metrics. You will also help ensure overall system code coverage remains above 80% while supporting software quality, performance, and continuous improvement through rigorous testing practices.\nRequired Skills/Experience:\nDevOps practices applied to develop, maintain, and continuously improve test automation assets, including configuration control, traceability, and repeatability\nJira and Confluence used to manage requirements, tasks, test artifacts, and project documentation\nSoftware development, testing, and integration activities within cloud development environments\nSAFe Agile participation including daily standups, sprint reviews, and functional testing\nCollaboration with Product Owners, Software Developers, and QA Teams to develop test approaches with emphasis on automation of regression testing\nCreation, maintenance, and evaluation of automated test suites to validate application functionality and improve test coverage\nExecution and documentation of testing activities for Jira-tracked development efforts\nAnalysis of testing results with actionable feedback provided to development teams\nTesting within commercial cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and OpenShift with DevOps tooling\nTesting of both back-end and front-end application processes\nScripting with Python or similar languages to automate tasks\nCI Pipeline test execution including JEST, Cypress, and/or Playwright\nSoftware performance testing practices\nCreation, authoring, execution, and documentation of test cases and result sets in an Agile cadence\nPreferred Skills/Experience:\nTracking test failures back to code changes that introduced defects\nReviewing code check-ins to assess the impact of changes on system functionality and potential bugs\nSoftware development or integration experience in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web Services) or virtualization environment\nUnit testing, continuous integration tools, and Git version control\nSQL queries and database analysis techniques to validate application data, investigate defects, and ensure data integrity\nDoD Aeronautical Datasets\nAWS CloudFormation templates\nActive Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree with relevant experience, or Master's degree with relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree\nDoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or Level 3 certification compliance (e.g., Security+)\nTop Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI and CI Polygraph\nNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country’s most crucial missions!
