This will be the requirement to ensure all aspects of the account are functioning to achieve a centralized delivery. In addition, the individual also performs project administration activities to support all aspects of the team and identifies gaps in the current delivery model and supports the recommendation for new processes to align with business and client requirements, including but not limited to supporting the team to ensure all project documentation, governance, project set up, funding, financial and technical close as well as administration close out requirements are aligned with BGIS delivery requirements.\n\nKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nTeam Leadership\nLead will be involved with the support of PMO/PCO/PM’s and Governance, to enhance the accounts performance. Supporting teams of between (10-20).\nResponsible for the hiring of any new team members, including business justification for new employees, interview processes and vetting with team leads.\nResponsible for overseeing the on-boarding processes to include:Buddy system.\nBest practices. \nEnsure PMWeb training road map is conducted to meet account requirements.\n\nProvides guidance/mentors on programming practices and techniques to individuals and cross-functional teams.\nEnforces team and organizational standards and practices (e.g. at walkthroughs and peer code reviews).\nEstimates and prioritizes work to maximize value while taking into account risk, effort and dependencies.\nEngages in continuous learning by developing and executing on a learning plan.\nSupporting the PC team alignment within the PM group.\nEnsure resources are assigned and adjusted to reflect the availability of funding.\nAdjust team size to maintain margins, and deliverables for BGIS.\nWork order management, Review and confirm appropriate programs to identify and adjust to reflect client requirements.\nMonitor the PDS projects with WOs and transfer when EPO’s are required.\nSupport management of client funding, monitor Opex and Capital and the assignment of projects.\nWeb Applications\nPerforms work with reporting updates to the manager on a weekly/by weekly basis.\nSPoC for client for specialized systems that the client uses.\nSPoC as intermediary between client and our team.\nResponsible for ensuring training associated.\nResponsible for interdependencies between Client systems and BGIS systems.\nMain client liaison for all:Training implementation\nFault finding for team concerns effective project life cycles.\n\nIssue Resolution\nLink (first responder) between account and OneCall/PMweb for issue resolution.\nProvides support, guidance and production assurance for complex or urgent problems.\nRaises impediments, risks, and issues as early as possible and work with the team to mitigate as needed.\nProvides solutions / suggestions for better process / procedures. \nAdvocates for quality in all aspects of development efforts based on the team's definition of quality.\nAssists in the design of business solutions. \nWorks with all departments to address any financial risks, for the client of sub trades.\nImpact Analysis, Process Improvement and Best Practice\nLeads team discussions in the analysis and collaboration to clarify and improve specifications or to identify alternative programming solutions.\nConducts impact analysis for proposed changes to or problems across the system.\nMakes recommendations or decisions on application design, standards and process improvements.\nWorks with the PM teams on performance issues impacting the PC team.\nPerformance monitoring for the PM team, to ensure best practice is being observed, mitigating rework.\nImplement governance requirements.\nMonitor and control KPI risks.\nResponsible for implementing all process throughout the team (PC team).\nResponsible for reporting as required.\nTechnical Documentation\nPrepares technical documentation (e.g., user guides, technical specifications).\n\nKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS\n\n5-8 years of project administration work experience. \nIn depth knowledge of PMWeb.\nCommunity college diploma or equivalent training.\nAbility to lead and engage a team of individuals.\nAbililty to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\nAbility to change direction to meet business requirements.\nAdvanced administrative, coordination and organizational skills.\nAdvanced project administration abilities.\nAbility to support and enforce change to maintain accurate data.\nStrong attention to detail and data accuracy.\nAbility to extract and compile data into reports.\nAbility to communicate effectively with others for the purpose of providing feedback, conveying information, data exchange, clarification and follow up.\nComputer proficiency in PMWeb MS Office applications in particular - MS Project, MS Excel, MS Outlook, along with ability to quickly learn new applications.\nLicenses and/or Professional Accreditation\nDemonstrates an interest in pursuing Project Management Institute Accreditation.\nThis is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $96,322 - $120,402 per annum.
