This role will be responsible for ensuring the stability performance and security of Azure network infrastructure enforcing security controls and supporting long-term client engagements onsite in Abu Dhabi.\nKey ResponsibilitiesDesign implement and manage Azure networking components including VNets NSGs Azure Firewall Application Gateway and ExpressRoute/ VPN Gateways.\n\nLead network security architecture planning ensuring compliance with zero-trust security models and enterprise security standards.\n\nConfigure and manage Azure security services such as Defender for Cloud Azure Sentinel (SIEM) Key Vault and Security Center.\n\nMonitor network traffic identify potential threats and implement proactive security measures.\n\nTroubleshoot network performance issues connectivity and security incidents in a hybrid (cloud on-prem) environment.\n\nCollaborate with Cloud Architects Security teams and DevOps engineers to integrate network security into infrastructure-as-code deployments (Terraform Bicep ARM templates).\n\nConduct regular vulnerability assessments and support security audits ensuring compliance with ISO27001 NIST or other relevant frameworks.\n\nCreate and maintain detailed network diagrams documentation and runbooks for operational handover.\n\nProvide L3 support for critical network and security incidents ensuring minimal downtime and impact.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience8 years of experience in network engineering and cloud security with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure.\n\nStrong expertise in Azure Networking: VNet Peering UDR NSG Load Balancers (Standard/Private) ExpressRoute VPN Gateways Private Endpoints.\n\nHands-on experience with Azure Security Services: Azure Firewall Defender for Cloud Key Vault Sentinel Application Gateway WAF Conditional Access.\n\nSolid understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN Routing & Switching SD-WAN and network troubleshooting tools.\n\nKnowledge of identity and access management (IAM) and integration with Azure AD / Entra ID.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud governance security compliance frameworks (ISO27001 NIST CIS Benchmarks).\n\nScripting knowledge (PowerShell Python) for automation of security and network tasks is a plus.\n\nRelevant Microsoft Certifications preferred (AZ-700 SC-200 SC-300 AZ-500).\n\nSoft Skills & AttributesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\n\nAbility to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.\n\nWillingness to relocate and work onsite
