Their main tasks will be concentrated in five main areas: Teaching, Student Retention, Curriculum, Accreditation and Learning Assessment Processes. This position is responsible for teaching a minimum of two classes per quarter via lectures and demonstrations in the classroom, laboratory setting, blended or online according to program objectives and course syllabi. The work schedule will be agreed with the Dean of Academic Affairs, according to the institutional needs. The Program Coordinator develops daily lesson plans as teaching guidelines, based upon the approved curriculum, that are submitted to the Dean of Academic Affairs prior to the beginning of each term. Retention of students is monitored daily and will be contacted the same day. The Program Coordinator is a full-time exempt employee and directly accountable to the Program Director or Dean of Academic Affairs.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMeet or exceed monthly and annual program outcomes including but not limited to retention, placement, certifications, monthly benchmarks and annual goals.\nMonitor daily student attendance within the program, provide necessary measures to ensure high daily attendance and retention.\nMonitor the daily contact of absent students by instructor in program\nPrepare, plan and teach a minimum of two classes per quarter, offered in a selected modality by adhering to instructor guidelines as described in the Northbridge University Faculty Handbook\nProvide active support to the college administration (Program Director or Dean of Academic Affairs) to help achieve the goals and objectives of the college.\nAssist with the hiring process of instructor(s) for program\nEnsures program operations, personnel, facilities and curriculum are in compliance with state, accreditation and programmatic regulatory bodies.\nAssist Academic Department with New Faculty Orientation, Training Sessions, classroom observations and monthly instructor class assignments.\nRecommend all field trips, guest speakers and other informational, or industry current events to Program Director\nResponsible for active student participation in monthly Student Surveys for program\nCollaborate and participate in all relative program Advisory Board Meetings\nMaintain an inventory of supplies, equipment and resources for program and process orders as needed.\nConduct one program meeting with faculty per month to review curriculum, retention and program outcomes and assessments\nAttend and participate in all campus meetings, faculty meetings, department meetings and Regional Academics training and meetings including the Curriculum and Assessment Committee meetings\nProvide and maintain an Annual Professional Development Plan for In-service and Professional Development\nMonitor program's faculty Annual Professional Development Plan for In-service and Professional Development\nProvide management of programs certifications and/or licenses for students by ordering, tracking, and assessing sit and pass rates\nOther duties as assigned\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s Degree or higher education preferred with official transcripts from post-secondary institution\nMinimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience at the college level; preferably in the proprietary school setting\nMinimum of 3 years of work experience in field\nPossess current professional certifications and/or licenses as appropriate to program required\nWhy Join Northbridge University?\nAt Northbridge University, you become part of a community devoted to academic excellence, innovation, and human development.
