In a typical year this office processes approximately 45,000 individual reservations taking place in 8 major event venues as well as 60+ smaller event venues across campus. Based out of the Curry Student Center, the Campus Scheduling Coordinator will play a pivotal support role on the CSC Scheduling Team. This position will field questions regarding space on campus, process bookings and support the Call for Programs that maps out the event calendar for the upcoming year. In this position you will interact regularly with faculty, staff and students. The Campus Scheduling Coordinator is expected to provide excellent customer service and accurate information in a timely manner.\nKey Responsibilities & Accountabilities:\nAccurately answer scheduling questions that come in via phone, email or in person.\nProcess booking requests and help solve booking issues.\nUphold the policies and procedures of the various event venues and meeting spaces.\nAssist with the Call for Programs (full year event planning).\nAddress logistic issues with the correct campus partners.\nUnderstand your role as a front-line member of the CSC Scheduling team. The Campus Scheduling Coordinator is an ambassador of Northeastern University as well as our department.\nBaseline hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, however hours of work may vary dependent on the needs of the department.\nProper notice of time off and sick time is required.\nEstablish and maintain effective communication with Event Management, Student Center Operations and CSC Scheduling staff.\nAssist with coverage of service areas in the event of staff shortages as needed.\nQualifications:\nClear communicator, both written and verbal.\nQuick thinking, strong problem solving skills.\nOrganized.\nTeam focused.\nService driven.\nAble to work in a fast paced environment.\nPosition Type\nTemporaryAdditional Information\nNortheastern University considers factors such as candidate work experience, education and skills when extending an offer.\nNortheastern has a comprehensive benefits package for benefit eligible employees.
