Working under the direction of Prof. Yarossi, this position will support the development of head models and E-field simulations, working alongside the Research Scientist and in collaboration with the Northeastern Center for Translational Neuroimaging.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport creation and segmentation of head models for E-field simulation.\nAssist in developing and applying computational modeling pipelines.\nSupport neuron modeling efforts, including implementation and testing of multi-compartment models.\nSupport imaging data processing and analysis in coordination with project collaborators.\nContribute to technical reporting, documentation, and dissemination of project results.\nEducation/Experience:\nBS required (MS preferred) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.\nExperience with computational modeling, simulation, or imaging analysis is preferred.\nSkills:\nFamiliarity with E-field simulation platforms such as SimNIBS, Sim4Life, CST Studio Suite, or ANSYS HFSS is a plus.\nFamiliarity with neuron modeling tools such as NEURON, or neural mass modeling approaches, is a plus.\nWorking knowledge of image segmentation and processing tools/pipelines (e.g., FreeSurfer, SPM, or similar) is beneficial.\nSolid programming and numerical computing skills (e.g., MATLAB, Python).\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary research team.\nStrong attention to detail and interest in electromagnetic field effects on biological tissue.\nIn compliance with federal government contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
