You will operate a loader to clear snow from parking lots, driveways, and other assigned areas. You will also help keep customer sites safe and accessible throughout the winter.\nNight shifts typically run from 8:00 pm to 7:00 am, depending on snowfall and weather conditions.\nJob Responsibilities\nOperate a loader to clear snow from parking lots, driveways, and other assigned areas.\nPush and pile snow in designated and approved locations.\nFollow site maps and instructions when clearing customer sites.\nOperate equipment safely and follow all operating procedures.\nComplete equipment inspections before and after use.\nReport equipment damage, maintenance needs, and safety concerns.\nWork with the snow removal crew to clear sites safely and efficiently.\nAssist with other snow removal duties as required.\nFollow all safety rules and instructions.\nComplete work logs and other required reports.\nComplete assigned work on time and to a high standard.\nRequirements\nValid Class 5 driver's licence.\nSafe driving record and ability to provide a driver's abstract upon request.\nPrevious experience operating a loader or similar heavy equipment.\nAbility to safely operate equipment in winter conditions.\nAbility to read site maps and follow instructions.\nAbility to work outdoors in temperatures as low as -30°C.\nWillingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.\nAbility to work safely, both alone and as part of a team.\nGood communication skills.\nAbility to use a smartphone for work updates and reports.\nBasic knowledge of equipment inspections and work logs.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nApplicants must conditions.\nOutdoor work in snow, ice, storms, and temperatures as low as -30°C.\nWork at residential and commercial sites throughout Whitehorse.\nOperation of heavy equipment in winter
