AVP / Product Manager

Responsibilities:

• Product strategy and roadmap, translating business and regulatory requirements into clear, sequenced product plans.
• Rules and eligibility logic working with risk and credit teams to define, document, and ship configurable, auditable decisioning capabilities across loan products.
• Partner integrations driving API-level collaboration with lending/fintech partners (onboarding, disbursement, document exchange, webhooks) from design through go-live.
• Requirements and documentation writing detailed PRDs, API specs, and process flows that engineering can build against with minimal ambiguity.
• Cross-functional execution coordinating with engineering, QA, risk, compliance, and external partner teams to hit delivery milestones, while proactively flagging and de-risking timeline or scope issues.
• Stakeholder communication presenting roadmap, trade-offs, and status clearly to senior leadership and partner organisations.
• Post-launch ownership monitoring adoption, resolving production issues, and iterating based on partner and user feedback.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in product management, with hands-on ownership of at least one B2B or B2B2C fintech/lending product through full lifecycle (discovery launch iteration).
• Strong understanding of lending workflows, underwriting, credit bureau data, KYC, disbursement, and repayment mechanics.
• Proven ability to write clear, engineering-ready PRDs and API documentation.
• Comfort working directly with APIs and system architecture you don't need to code, but you should be able to read a payload spec and reason about integration flows with partners.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder integration projects (internal engineering + external partner teams) with competing timelines.
• A track record of pushing back constructively on unrealistic timelines with data and clear trade-off framing, rather than either silently absorbing risk or blocking progress.
• Familiarity with RBI regulatory guidelines relevant to lending is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, able to flex between technical depth with engineering and business framing with leadership/partners.

• Experience with rules engines or decisioning platforms.
• Exposure to workflow orchestration tools.
• Background in a BFSI-focused startup or NBFC technology team.
