Under general direction the Training Consultant will assist with defining learning solutions that support the functional requirements. The Training Consultant role involves designing, delivering functional training solutions, analyses solutions for continuous improvement and undertakes appropriate operational and administrative aspects of the training curriculum.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nAssociate Consultant\nUnder general supervision , responsible for administering the training plans and programs necessary to fulfill the needs for corporate or specific business unit (TA) groups.\n\nPrepares general lessons plans relevant to training materials.\n\nIdentifies business needs and designs general training programs for the stakeholders\n\nConducts and facilitates training programs for corporate or specific business unit groups\n\nAnalyzes course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training sessions and to recommend/implement improvements\n\nConsultants with Business and Training leadership regarding the design and production of work situations requiring new or existing training programs\n\nMay develop project plans including the identification of subject matter experts where appropriate.\n\nAssists in identifying appropriate external vendors and evaluates the applicability of their offerings and may manage ongoing vendor relationships\n\nMay carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact\n\nMay have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management\n\nAble to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees\n\nMore technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas\n\nAble to facilitate discussions and reach decisions to support knowledge transfer and training deliverables for Business unit\n\nArea Specific Duties\nCoordinate and deliver the training program and mandatory curriculum in all the Global COO L&D locations.\n\nLiaise with both managers and participants to outline program requirements\n\nMaintain all training and progress reports/assessments surrounding the program\n\nContinuous evaluation of the programme working with BU and Training Stakeholders\n\nDesign, develop and maintain a training curriculum for the TA function within the Global GFS curriculums which can be implemented and delivered regardless of geographic location.\n\nCoordinate/deliver the new hire curriculum within your geographic location.\n\nEvaluates training and COO L&D development programs for effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvements.\n\nDesign and deliver training for existing systems and new system roll-outs.\n\nEnsures that TA/ COO L&D Functional learning and development interventions are aligned with the Business Unit and/or enterprise-wide needs.\n\nConsult with areas in the business unit to provide ongoing support.\n\nWork collaboratively with other Global Training Teams.\n\nSkills / Experience\nFor this position, we are looking for an individual that fits one of the two profiles below:\nAn experienced operations professional willing to develop their consulting, writing and presenting skills.\nRequirements include:\nPrior operational experience, preferably within one of the following functions: Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting/ Financial Services functions or a similar role in financial services\n\nExcellent communication skills\n\nAbility to work across all levels of staff and consultant mindset\n\nSelf-starter and team player\n\nAttention to detail\n\nAn experienced training professional willing to quickly learn all aspects, primarily Transfer Agency (TA) business function.\nRequirements include:\nPrior training and consulting experience, preferably in the area of, Transfer Agency functions\n\nFamiliar with ADDIE and experience in building learning solutions.\n\nExcellent communication skills\n\nAbility to work with all levels of staff\n\nSelf-starter and team player\n\nAttention to detail\n\nExposure to learning tools and eLearning methodologies.\n\nEligibility - Internal Partners\n24MonthsasaSeniorAnalysttomoveasan AssociateConsultant\n\nMovementwithinTCandAssociateConsultantwillbe12months\n\nWorking with Us\nAs a Northern Trust partner, you will be part of a flexible and collaborative work culture, which has a strong history of financial strength and stability.
