Under general direction the Associate Training Consultant will assist with defining learning solutions that support the functional requirements. The Associate Training Consultant role involves designing, delivering functional training solutions, analyses solutions for continuous improvement and undertakes appropriate operational and administrative aspects of the training curriculum.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nAssociate Training Consultant\nWorks with management, performance consultants and/or subject matter experts to understand desired business outcomes and translate them into learning and organization development objectives.\n\nWorks with stakeholders to determine appropriate learning methodologies and organization development solutions.\n\nDevelops project plans including the identification of subject matter experts where appropriate.\n\nDevelops, facilitates and delivers learning and organization development programs.\n\nDevelops training modules leveraging eLearning tools and application e.g. Scribe, Clip Champ etc.\n\nMaintains an inventory of training and organization development programs/tools and schedules their use according to management priorities.\n\nEvaluates training and organization development programs for effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvements.\n\nDelivers a work product that requires minimal revision.\n\nServes as a key subject matter expert in program design and may mentor more junior staff.\n\nHandles all types of analysis.\n\nRepresents the department in various meetings.\n\nArea Specific Duties\nThe Associate Training Consultant would be supporting the Integrated portfolio Solutions.\n\nCoordinate and deliver the training program and mandatory curriculum in all the COO Learning & Development locations globally.\n\nLiaise with both managers and participants to outline program requirements.\n\nMaintain all training and progress reports surrounding the program.\n\nContinuous evaluation of the programme working with business units and various stakeholders.\n\nDesign, develop and maintain a training curriculum within the global curriculums which can be implemented and delivered regardless of geographic location.\n\nCoordinate/deliver the new hire curriculum within your geographic location.\n\nDesign and deliver training for existing systems and new system roll-outs.\n\nEnsures that COO Learning & Development interventions are aligned with the Business Unit and/or enterprise-wide needs.\n\nConsult with areas in the business unit to provide ongoing support.\n\nWork collaboratively with other Global Training Teams.\n\nSkills / Experience\nFor this position, we are looking for an individual that fits one of the two profiles below:\nAn experienced operations professional willing to develop their consulting, writing and presenting skills.\n\nRequirements include:\nThe candidate should have expert knowledge in trade life cycle, Alternative Assets , Cash operations, Performance Reporting with minimum experience of 4-6 years.\n\nPrior operational experience, preferably within one of the following functions: Alternative Assets Services, IRAS, Derivatives, Fund Accounting/Financial Services functions or a similar role in financial services.\n\nExcellent communication skills\n\nAbility to work with all levels of staff\n\nSelf-starter and team player\n\nAttention to detail\n\nAn experienced training professional willing to quickly learn all aspects of the TPS.\n\nRequirements include:\nPrior training consulting experience, preferably in the area of Alternative Assets Services, IRAS, HFS, Derivatives or Fund Accounting functions\n\nThe candidate should have expert knowledge in Trade life cycle, Asset servicing, Cash operations, Fund accounting and so on with minimum experience of 4-6 years.\n\nExcellent communication skills\n\nAbility to work with all levels of staff\n\nSelf-starter and team player\n\nAttention to detail\n\nEligibility\n24 Months as a Senior Analyst to move as an Associate Consultant\n\nMovement within TC and Associate Consultant will be 12 months\n\nWorking with Us\nAs a Northern Trust partner, you will be part of a flexible and collaborative work culture, which has a strong history of financial strength and stability.
