The successful candidate will design and develop scalable cloud-based data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions, Terraform, SQL, and Python. The role requires strong data engineering and data modeling experience, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure cloud services.\nBuild and support data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and Terraform.\nDevelop robust data models that support integration and reporting requirements across Procurement applications.\nCollaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into reliable and efficient data solutions.\nOptimize data processing and storage solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.\nImplement data security and compliance controls in alignment with organizational standards, industry best practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.\nTroubleshoot data pipeline issues and support the timely resolution of production incidents.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation covering data architecture, integration processes, data models, and engineering standards.\nContribute to code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.\nRequired Skills:\n5 to 7 years of relevant technology experience, including at least 5 years of data engineering experience.\n5 years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.\n5 years of experience in data engineering and data modeling.\n5 years of hands-on experience with Terraform.\n5 years of strong SQL experience.\n3 years of experience with Azure Functions.\n2 years of Python experience.\nExperience working with Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL.\nExperience designing and supporting scalable ETL and data integration solutions.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nExperience with Azure Databricks.\nWorking knowledge of React.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD and automated deployment practices.\nExperience supporting cloud-based data platforms in an enterprise environment.\nExposure to Procurement systems or Procurement data integrations.\nWorking with Us\nAs a Northern Trust partner, you will be part of a flexible and collaborative work culture, which has a strong history of financial strength and stability.
