This role manages ongoing complex credit, deposit, and treasury management relationships for individuals, corporations, and partnerships; structures and negotiates financing solutions; and advises clients through a goals-driven wealth management approach. The Banking Advisor serves as a key client contact, enhances the quality and profitability of banking services, and coordinates client service delivery across the Bank.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop new client relationships by identifying prospects and executing targeted marketing strategies, while broadening relationships with existing clients. \nManage ongoing complex wealth management banking, credit, deposit, and treasury management relationships for individuals, corporations, and partnerships; identify opportunities beyond banking, including investment and fiduciary solutions. \nServe as a key contact for senior client contacts, negotiate credit arrangements, identify opportunities to improve cash flow, and enhance the profitability and quality of credit and deposit services. \nCoordinate the delivery of client service with other areas of the Bank to provide an integrated client experience. \nApply knowledge of credit policy, banking products, and risk management in serving clients. \nConduct proactive outreach to prospects, self-source new relationships, and generate leads through established relationships with centers of influence (COIs) while cultivating additional COIs. \nStructure and negotiate complex loan and/or lease agreements in accordance with guidelines established by senior bank and business unit management. \nAnalyze and negotiate loan terms, including special pricing conditions, interest rates, swaps, and related structures, in alignment with Credit Policy Committee guidelines; oversee preparation of documentation required for financing agreements. \nAdvise and consult with clients as it relates to Goals-Driven Wealth Management. \nCarry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional, and technically complex. \nBalance high-level operational execution with the development and execution of strategic direction for business function activities, including direct interaction with committees and management. \nDevelop, implement, and administer programs within assigned functional areas and solve complex problems.\nWhat Will Make You Successful in the Role\nAdvanced knowledge of the banking industry, competitive landscape, and financing, typically acquired through formal education and professional experience. \nKnowledge of investments, trust, and financial consulting concepts to identify cross-selling opportunities. \nStrong negotiation, leadership, and sales skills required to develop client and prospect relationships and a partner network. \nExcellent oral and written communication skills. \nHigh degree of flexibility and adaptability to change. \nIn-depth conceptual and practical knowledge within the job discipline, with basic knowledge of related job disciplines. \nExperience & Education\nAt least 3 years of experience in financial analysis and client servicing, commercial lending, or leasing. \nActs as a resource for colleagues with less experience. \nMay lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. \nWork Authorization\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
