Under general direction the Training Consultant will assist with defining learning solutions that support the functional requirements. The Training Consultant role involves designing, developing, and delivering functional training solutions, analyzing solutions for continuous improvement and undertaking appropriate operational and administrative aspects of the training curriculum.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nWork with management, business process consultants and/or subject matter experts to understand desired business outcomes and translate them into learning objectives. \nWork with stakeholders to determine appropriate learning methodologies and functional training solutions. \nHandle all types of analysis. \nDevelop project plans including the identification of subject matter experts where appropriate. \nDesign, develop, facilitate and deliver learning programs. \nEvaluate training development programs for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements. \nMaintain an inventory of training development programs/tools and schedules, their use according to management priorities. \nDeliver a work product that requires minimal revision. \nServe as a key subject matter expert in program design and may mentor more junior staff. \nActs as a product and marketing manager for training programs \nResponsible for multiple projects of various complexities \nRepresent Market Operations L&D in various meetings. \nArea Specific Duties - Market Operations\nDesign, develop and maintain a training curriculum for the Market Operations function which can be implemented and delivered regardless of geographic location. \nCoordinate/deliver the new hire curriculum within the relevant geographic location. \nDesign and deliver both self paced and instructor led training for existing systems and new system roll-outs. \nEnsure that COO learning and development interventions are aligned with the Business Unit and/or enterprise-wide needs. \nConsult with Market Operations management to provide ongoing support on training needs and business unit initiatives. \nWork collaboratively with other global training teams. Provide backup as necessary. \nSkills / Experience\nHas in-depth knowledge of Market Operations and the various domains within, and strong knowledge of the business unit and corporate strategy. Has strong project management capabilities. Has excellent communication, marketing, relationship, facilitation and motivational skills.
