Together, they reflect the three cornerstones of business conduct which we strive to instill in our employees, whom we call partners, and to provide to our clients and the communities we serve worldwide.\nWith more than 135 years of financial experience and over 24,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.\nMajor Duties:\nDesign, develop, and enhance scalable enterprise test automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, unit, regression, and end-to-end testing.\nLead large-scale automated test execution across multiple applications and environments, including scheduled, release, deployment, and code-promotion validation.\nImprove test automation resiliency by identifying and eliminating flaky tests, intermittent failures, synchronization issues, dependency failures, test-data issues, environment instability, and configuration-related failures.\nTroubleshoot and fix, refactor, and optimize existing automation scripts, improving reliability, maintainability, execution speed, error handling, recovery, and reusability.\nAnalyze execution failures to distinguish application defects from automation, environment, data, access, configuration, and infrastructure issues, and drive sustainable root-cause fixes.\nBuild automation capable of reliable repeatable and unattended enterprise execution, with effective logging, reporting, failure diagnostics, rerun/recovery mechanisms, and execution monitoring.\nValidate code promotions, releases, deployments, and application/platform changes across development, test, staging, and production environments.\nIntegrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or comparable technologies.\nApply GitHub Copilot, Generative AI, and AI-assisted testing for test creation, code improvement, failure analysis, automation maintenance, and engineering productivity.\nProvide technical leadership through automation architecture, coding standards, code reviews, mentoring, and continuous improvement.\nExperience & Qualifications:\n10-13 years of relevant experience in Java test automation and SDLC release management, preferable in financial domain services.\nStrong expertise in DevOps.\nHolds Bachelor's or equivalent degree.\nShift: APAC: 10:00AM to 7:00PM IST\nWorking with Us\nAs a Northern Trust partner, you will be part of a flexible and collaborative work culture, which has a strong history of financial strength and stability.
