Key duties include creating automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, managing containerization and orchestration through Docker and Kubernetes, and implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. The position ensures system reliability through comprehensive monitoring and logging, collaborates effectively with offshore teams, and bridges Development and Operations to enable secure, efficient software delivery. Strategic automation, robust security, and alignment with business objectives are central focus areas.\nMAJOR DUTIES:\nCloud Architecture & Management: Design, deploy, manage scalable infrastructure on Azure using services like AKS/FrontDoor/Key Vaults/APIM/App Gateway etc.\nCI/CD & Automation: Develop and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions and Gradle).\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.\nContainerization: Manage containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (Centralized AKS).\nMonitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring, logging (Dynatrace and Azure Monitor) and alerting for production systems.\nSecurity: Implement security best practices, encryption, and controls at the infrastructure and pipeline levels.\nCollaboration & Mentorship: Work cross-functionally with dev/ops teams, lead technical initiatives.\nPerformance & Reliability: Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability (SRE principles). \nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent.\nAt least 5 years of DevOps/Software Engineering, proven track record with complex systems working within a distributed cross-functional team.\nProficient with Terraform\nCloud: Deep expertise in Azure.\nDevOps Tools: Proficient in CI/CD tools, GitHub, Gradle, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes.\nScripting/Languages: Python, Go, Java, Bash scripting.\n Networking: Solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers.\nExperience with Relational databases: Azure SQL, Snowflake, Oracle\nNon-relational databases: Redis\nMessaging: Confluent Kafka\nHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes\nAble to organize, moderate, and demonstrate value-added principles and practices to the teams.\nExperience mitigating Sonar, Checkmarx, CAST scans.\nExperience with continuous integration and test-driven development practices, test automation and tools.\nEmpowered self-starter comfortable to take the lead and manage multiple initiatives with ability to effectively collaborate across teams and departments.\nKnowledge and experience in tools such Azure DevOps/Dashboards and Confluence a plus.\nExperience in the financial service industry is a plus.\nAZ 104 Certification is a plus\n· Azure/AWS Cloud Certified\nSalary Range:\n$137,400 - 233,600 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
