Design and develop high quality, scalable and efficient solutions, and products on schedule. Coordinates with testing team to validate user stories and make corrections based on identified bugs. Ability to analyze legacy applications and create technical design document for application rationalization. Ensure project goals make sense and overall development objectives are being met.\nMAJOR DUTIES:\nDesigning and developing components in Java and React using Springboot.\nInteracting with SQA teams to facilitate testing and validation of developed components.\nGathering system requirements and analyzing user needs\nDesigning application architecture, flow charts, specification documents and writing technical stories when needed.\nWriting clean, efficient, and well-documented code\nTesting software and implementing modernized testing features\nDebugging and troubleshooting programs\nSupporting junior developers and helping troubleshoot issues.\nCollaborating with other developers across the GFO team to create innovative software solutions. \nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent.\nAt least 7 years of development experience in Agile environment working within a distributed cross-functional team.\nAt least 7 years of Java development experience.\nAt least 5 years of React development experience.\nExperience with frameworks/tools like: Springboot, React, GitHub, RESTful APIs, Kafka, Solace.\nExposure to monitoring tools like: Dynatrace, AppMon, Elastic Search\nFamiliarity with Agile Scrum and/or SAFe methodologies. \nExcellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills.\nExcellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.\nAble to effectively facilitate discussions and suggest alternative approaches.\nExperience with developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines, coordinating timelines and efforts, and operating under tight time constraints.\nExperience with developing, testing, and deploying software utilizing a rapid, iterative delivery method.\nAble to organize, moderate, and demonstrate value-added principles and practices to the teams.\nExperience mitigating Sonar, Checkmarx, CAST scans.\nUnderstand all facets of the software development life cycle including planning, requirements management, development, quality assurance, change management and release management.\nExperience with continuous integration and test-driven development practices, test automation and tools.\nEmpowered self-starter comfortable to take the lead and manage multiple initiatives with ability to effectively collaborate across teams and departments.\nKnowledge and experience in tools such Azure DevOps/Dashboards and Confluence a plus.\nExperience in the financial service industry is a plus.\nAzure Cloud Certified\nSalary Range:\n$114,500 - 194,700 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
