In this role, you'll be instrumental in architecting and maintaining the robust cloud infrastructure that powers our platform.\nThis position is remote.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions\n\nManage and optimize our multi-cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure)\n\nMaintain Northflank's secure multi-tenancy stack for our self-service users and Enterprise customers\n\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for our internal and customer-facing platforms\n\nImplement and manage container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes)\n\nImplement and operate managed stateful workload offerings\n\nEnsure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery of our systems\n\nCollaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes\n\nContinuously improve our CI/CD pipelines\n\nRequirements:\n3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering\n\nStrong proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)\n\nExpertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)\n\nSolid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices\n\nProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Typescript, Rust, Python, Bash)\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with multi-cloud architectures\n\nExperience with KVM, Kata Containers, gVisor\n\nExperience with service mesh technologies such as Istio, Envoy, Linkerd\n\nExperience with OpenShift, Tanzu, Cloud Foundry and other app platforms\n\nExperience with persistent storage technologies such as Ceph, Rook\n\nKnowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)\n\nFamiliarity with serverless computing concepts\n\nExperience with database administration (SQL and NoSQL)\n\nContributions to open-source projects\n\nWe offer a competitive salary, equity, and benefits package, and the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing startup at the forefront of the cloud-native revolution.\nIf you are passionate about infrastructure software and want to join a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you!\nCompensation\nThe compensation for this role will depend on a number of factors including but not limited to: skill set, experience, training, and location.\nDiversity Statement\nAt Northflank, we are committed to fostering a culture where every individual feels valued, respected, and supported, regardless of their background or identity.
