This role is designed for individuals with a strong mechanical interest who are eager to start a career in manufacturing. You will work under the guidance of senior operators to ensure our products meet high-quality standards.\nWe currently have positions open on all 3 shifts.\nStarting wage is $20+ per hour depending on experience.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nMachine Operation & Support\nAssist in setting up extrusion machines and downstream equipment (cooling tanks, pullers, cutters) according to production requirements.\nLearn to start up, operate, and shut down extrusion lines in a safe and controlled manner.\nLoad raw materials and additives into hoppers and monitor proper blending.\nMonitor machine parameters like temperature and pressure, reporting any deviations to the lead operator.\nPackage finished parts according to product specifications.\nQuality Assurance\nPerform regular inspections of products for surface finish and visible defects.\nTrain on the use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product measurements.\nAccurately document production data and quality checks following company procedures.\nMaintenance & Safety\nHelp maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning dies, filters, and work areas.\nFollow all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures.\nMaintain an organized workspace\nRequirements\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.\nNo previous extrusion experience required;
