The qualified candidate must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver who thrives in an agile, standards-driven environment and enjoys working closely with site teams, users, and government stakeholders to deliver reliable, repeatable deployments.\nResponsibilities:\nThis position provides full-spectrum DevOps support across the deployment lifecycle of a RHEL/SE Linux based enterprise product. Duties include deploying and maintaining RHEL/SE Linux configurations through Red Hat Satellite and Ansible automation, working one-on-one with site administrators to troubleshoot automation and deployment issues, and installing software libraries that function within the RHEL/SE Linux environment. The engineer monitors and modifies the enterprise environment in an agile, highly flexible setting, engages third-party vendors to translate and integrate manual steps into the automated deployment process, and creates or modifies existing DevOps automation to correct errors and improve deployment capabilities. Additional duties include developing and executing test plans for filesystem upgrades, resolving issues with vendor support, providing support to staff and end users, and applying DevOps best practices to deliver quality projects on schedule.\nRequired Skills/Experience::\nRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/SE Linux administration and configuration management\nDeployment and automation using Red Hat Satellite and Ansible\nTroubleshooting automation and deployment issues alongside site administrators\nInstalling and supporting software libraries within a RHEL/SE Linux environment\nIntegrating third-party vendor tools and manual steps into an automated deployment process\nDeveloping and executing test plans, including filesystem upgrades\nExperience working in an Agile environment\nPreferred Skills/Experience:\nSupporting staff and end users to resolve enterprise environment issues\nImproving and modifying existing DevOps automation to correct errors and expand deployment capabilities\nExperience supporting new business growth with additional customers\nQualifications:\nActive Top Secret/SCI security clearance\nNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country’s most crucial missions!
