This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Oklahoma City, OK.\nThe qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Product Support organization.\nEssential Functions:\nThe selected candidate will:\nResearch, plan, design and develop mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.\nApply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.\nThis requisition may be filled at either an Associate Engineer Mechanical (T01) or Engineer Mechanical (T02).\nBasic Qualifications for an Associate Mechanical Engineer (T01):\nA candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:\nBe completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027.\nBe majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.\nBe able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
