This position will be located at our Mission Systems sector in Baltimore, MD. This position will be in the Pathways rotational program where there will be three rotation opportunities within global supply chain.\nThe qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems Global Supply Chain organization. Rotations within the program may be aligned to core areas of Global Supply Chain such as procurement, program planning, supplier quality and other related work scopes.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nProcurement Pathways Role & Responsibilities: \nThe Pathways participant will obtain experience and demonstrate proficiency in the following fundamental areas of general procurement \nCreation of a standard material purchase order (SMAT) in SAP.\nUnderstand the basic steps to create and issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using SAP. \nReviewing supplier quotations and conducting pricing negotiations. Perform basic price analysis. \nMaintaining documentation using the eFile system and requirements.\nNavigating PrOP to include the understanding of procedures used on all purchase orders.\nHow to release a purchase order in SAP. \nHow to implement a purchase order change order. \nHow to access and manage buyer purchase requisition work queue.\nHow to use Ariba and Onboard a new supplier. \nUnderstand the general procurement timeline and steps to complete PO release within 30 day cycle time. \nLearn organizational skills required to manage work queue. \nProgram Planner Pathways Role and Responsibilities\n Acting as supplier lead for Non-Category Management suppliers and involved in status meetings, expediting material, and issue resolution.\nParticipating in Program Meetings and other functional meetings concerning the Program, including Page and Lines\nCreating requisitions for Program and NGMS material through the M903/M922 process\nTracking Program related KPI Metrics, e.g., Late to Release Reqs., On-Time delivery to MRP, etc.\nSupporting CAMs with procurement activities, including req. releases, quote and negotiation activities, and procurement documentation\nSupporting smaller Proposals and creating BOEs for those proposals\nSupporting continuous improvement projects\nBasic Qualifications:\nA candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:\nBe completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution\nBe majoring in or having majored in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or related field.\nBe able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)\nThe ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHave an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher\nPrevious internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork, capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)\nExposure or experience with Power BI, Tableau, SAP, and Microsoft Office skills, including Excel formulas, pivot tables and PowerPoint.\nSalary Range:\n$60,200to $90,200\ncampusjobs\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
