This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.\nThe qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’ s Production Engineering & Operations (PE&O) organization and will directly support the Industrial Engineering team.\nThe selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other developers.\nAs an intern, you’ll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of engineering specializations that may include:\nConstruct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.\nWork from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.\nOperate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.\nPerform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.\nPrepare prescribed compounds and solutions.\nBasic Qualifications:\nA candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:\nBe enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027.\nBe majoring in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related STEM degree.\nBe available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.\nBe able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMajoring in Industrial Engineering.\nHave an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.\nPrevious internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).\nIntern Pay Range:\nUndergraduate degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $18.50 to $33.50 per hour.\nMaster’s: $26.25 to $41.50 per hour.\nAt Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.\nCampusjobs\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $1.00 - $1.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
