This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nPerforms a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical areas.\nConstructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.\nWorks from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.\nOperates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.\nPerforms calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.\nExclude technicians working in Production or Quality Assurance\nBasic Qualifications\nA candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:\n\nBe a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027\nBe majoring in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.\nBe available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.\nBe able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)\n Preferred Qualifications:\nHave an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
