Northrop Grumman is seeking Supply Chain Intern for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Mission Systems sector in Linthicum, MD.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Sourcing organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Actively support functions to gather and leverage sector-level forecasts to drive informed decisions
• Assists with technology strategy and business case development for sourcing evaluations (second/alternate sourcing)
• Extract, monitor, analyze and validate data and information from multiple sources
• Assists with Sector/program supplier development strategy (new or alternate supplier identification/incubation, affordability initiatives, capability/capacity development, etc.)
• Develop engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners / customers to drive problem resolution.
• Conduct in-depth data gathering and analysis from sources such as news articles, industry reports (e.g., Gartner, S&P Global), and internal tools to identify industry and supplier risks. Summarize key findings in short briefs or slide decks that help stakeholders develop mitigation strategies

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027
• Be majoring in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering or closely related discipline
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
• Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
• Keen interest in Global Supply Chain functional group
• Exposure or experience with SAP, Power BI, Tableau and Microsoft Office skills, including Excel formulas, pivot tables and PowerPoint.

Intern Pay Range:

Bachelor’s: $18.25 to $33.00 per hour

Master’s: $26.25 to $41.50 per hour
