This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nPerforming static and dynamic structure analysis.\nReviewing requirements for materials, structure systems & subsystems.\nSelecting appropriate technical information and data from applicable products.\nDetermining the technical principles involved, identifying the design path forward and computing the engineering characteristics to ensure consistency with the specifications design needs and requirements of space applications.\nReleasing results as “technical documents” after review by the senior members of the team.\nDeveloping innovative solutions and elaborating on design concepts.\nEvaluating completed designs with supervisor and other technical groups, and making modifications necessary to achieve the most ideal design.\nDeveloping, coordinating, and conducting test programs required to evaluate design work\nBasic Qualifications\nA candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:\n\nBe a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027\nBe majoring in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.\nBe available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.\nBe able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)\n Preferred Qualifications:\nHave an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
