Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.\n\nEnterprise Services (ES) Property Accounting is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Accountant (Level 02) knowledgeable in Financial & Property/Fixed Asset Accounting functions and activities.\nThis role will be located in our Irving, Texas office and will require at least two days a week in the office.\nRoles and responsibilities of the Accountant will include (but not be limited to) the following:\nPrepare fixed asset financial reports for various sectors.\nPrepare depreciation forecasts & related depreciation reports.\nPerform asset transfers, retirements & disposals.\nPerform monthly depreciation reasonableness review.\nAssist internal and external audit requests.\nPerform account reconciliations.\nPerform month end reclass entries.\nSupport Federal Tax and Property Tax reporting.\nCoordinate and complete mandatory U.S. Census Bureau Surveys\nInterfacing with internal and external customers.\nSpecial projects as needed.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.\nProficiency in MS Office Suite - specifically high-level Excel skills (including: the ability to insert pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting, etc.).\nProven ability to multi-task, produce quality results, and consistently meet deadlines.\n·\nExperience driving success by finding and communicating opportunities for efficiencies, process improvement, and/or automation of processes, in support of the Company's digital transformation initiatives.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with SAP and Asset Management (AM) module\nFamiliarity with GAAP, FAR, CAS.\nProfessional experience in a regulated industry: to include Aerospace & Defense, Financial Services\nAbility to use technical aptitude to solve problems.\nDemonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experiences.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
