Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance at the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.\nIn this role, you will focus on Linux-based infrastructure, containerized deployments, cloud platforms, automation, and secure application integration in support of operational AI capabilities. You will serve as a technical contributor across software, platform, AI/ML, and cybersecurity teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions. The role requires independent execution, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support complex deployments in enterprise environments.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nDeploy, configure, and sustain infrastructure supporting AI/ML and LLM-enabled applications and services.\nAdminister and troubleshoot Linux-based environments across development, test, and production.\nBuild, deploy, and manage containerized solutions using technologies such as Podman, Docker, Portainer, and Kubernetes.\nDevelop automation and operational tooling using Bash and Python.\nSupport cloud-based deployments and integrations in AWS and/or Azure environments.\nImplement and maintain source control and CI/CD workflows using GitHub and/or GitLab.\nConfigure and troubleshoot enterprise integrations involving proxies, firewalls, SSL certificates, OAuth, SSO, credential management, and session management.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve the reliability, security, and maintainability of AI platform capabilities.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree in STEM with 6 years of relevant experience; OR PhD in STEM with 4 years of relevant experience\nMust have an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance at the time of application\nExperience operating and troubleshooting Linux environments\nExperience developing automation using Bash and Python\nExperience deploying and managing containerized applications using Podman, Docker, Portainer, Kubernetes, or similar technologies\nExperience deploying, supporting, or sustaining AI/ML, LLM-enabled, or other advanced software solutions in production or enterprise environments\nExperience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms\nExperience with GitHub and/or GitLab\nExperience with OAuth/SSO, credential management, and session management\nExperience working with SSL certificates and enterprise proxy/firewall configurations\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Ollama, SageMaker, Azure AI Foundry, or similar model deployment technologies\nExperience with LangChain, Langflow, MCP, Supergateway, or similar AI orchestration tooling\nExperience with Keycloak or similar identity and access management platforms\nExperience with MLOps tools and practices such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, model registries, and automated deployment workflows.\nFamiliarity with Java\nFamiliarity with VS Code and/or Eclipse IDE\nExperience supporting AI inference services, APIs, microservices, or batch processing pipelines in enterprise environments\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $172,100.00 - $258,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
