This position will be located onsite, in Melbourne, FL. Remote work is unavailable for this position.\nEssential Functions:\nDevelops and maintains software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.\nPerforms configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable.\nCollect and report CM metrics. Designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development.\nDesigns and implements build procedures that are used to support software product development and use.\nDevelop software configuration standards for company-wide use. May train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards.\nMaintain the Software CM system including the collection or distribution of code documentation, problem report and change request processing, and software build documentation.\nThe selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.\nBasic Qualifications:\nAssociate Software Configuration Analyst (Level 1):\nBachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university.\nMust have a current DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation.\nAbility to obtain SAP access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.\nSoftware Configuration Analyst (Level 2):\nBachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of software configuration analyst experience OR a Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university\n2 years of experience in Configuration Software\n2 years of experience with Software Library standup or maintenance\n2 years of experience with Lab Configuration, Software builds and software review experience\n2 years of experience with MIL-HDBK-61A\nApplicable at Both Levels: \nMust have a current DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation.\nPrevious experience working in a SAP/SAR environment.\nAbility to obtain SAP access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with agile Software development framework such as Scrum Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)\nKnowledge of software configuration management tools; the candidate should understand CM/Release Management best practices.\nExperience using software configuration management tools to manage baselines and support product release.\nExperience in configuration management and able to work closely with the software development teams\nExperience with Agile software development concepts, ability to work multiple tasks concurrently, and strong documentation and communication skills\nDoD Top Secret clearance\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $59,900.00 - $89,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
