This position is located in Baltimore, MD.\nWhat You’ll Get To Do:\nAs a Consulting Embedded Software Engineer within the Software and Digital Technologies Organization, you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Radar Software Development group with a focus on Advanced Land Sensors. The new team member will work on software systems in all phases of the software development lifecycle, primarily in C/C++. The new team member will be responsible for developing software to control existing and new generations of RF subsystems. The successful candidate will be collaborative, open, transparent, and team oriented with a focus on team empowerment & shared responsibility, flexibility, continuous learning and a culture of automation.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nAnalyze, develop, modify, and test existing Radar software\nPerform data analysis of production test data\nPerform data analysis of performance data collected from fielded systems\nIdentify risks, suggest mitigation, track defects, develop resolutions, and report status\nWork alongside multi-disciplined engineering teams to test and verify software products in test environments and actual production hardware in our System Integration Laboratories\nActive participation with systems engineering in technical peer, design, architecture, and system reviews to ensure system/software requirements are being met from an end-to-end system point of view\nCreate and deliver presentations to internal and customer stakeholders\n\"The salary range is based on a full-time schedule and will be prorated to the extent the schedule is reduced.\"\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in a STEM field with 16 years of related experience, Master’s degree with 14 years of related experience, Ph.D. with 12 years of related experience\nU.S Citizenship is required.\nMust be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
