This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.\n*Please be aware that this position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) and obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding. Furthermore, this position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance at the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.\nJob responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nPerform Electromechanical engineering on multiple projects through all phases of development and manufacturing\nDevelop technical specifications, conceptual designs, trade studies, detail designs, procedures, assembly, testing, and reports\nAssist with technical data packages including fabrication, source control, and assembly drawings in accordance with internal drawing standards\nPerform engineering analysis to validate design solutions with respect to technical performance, environmental durability, manufacturability, schedule and cost\nSupport the on-time execution of development programs by proactively mitigating risks and pursuing opportunities\nAssist with internal design reviews, provide, and incorporate feedback from reviewers and management\nEmploy strong interpersonal and communication skills while contributing to an integrated product team\nDemonstrate accountability to obtain results and contribute to organizational objectives\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in STEM discipline\nMust have active SCI access at the time of application or an active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company, prior to the start date\nExperience with mechanisms design, Electromechanical or opto-mechanical\nExperience with Creo, SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA V5/3DExp industry CAD software\nPreferred Qualifications:\nM.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM technical discipline\nExperience with the design, development, analysis, and verification of moving mechanical assemblies (e.g. mechanisms or electro-mechanical products) for space applications\nProficiency with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)\nExperience working on Special Access Programs\nActive U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
