This role is located onsite in Palmdale, El Segundo, or San Diego, CA.\nThe selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility.There is NO remote / hybrid / telework available for this position . Travel up to 25% may be required.\nThe Supplier Management Team (SMT) Lead supports the Communications and Payloads Technical Team and is the team’s and Global Supply Chain’s (GSC’s) primary interface to the supplier for the associated subsystem(s). The selected candidate should thrive working in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, engaged in significantly diverse assignments, within a collaborative/team setting across all levels of the organization.\nRoles and Responsibilities will include:\nCoordinating the efforts of the SMT, including engineers, the subcontracts administrator, supplier quality assurance representatives, logistics engineers, the cost account manager, the scheduler, and the material planner.\nCoordinating and managing the execution of all phases of supplier performance, including planning, proposals, new capability development, production, testing, deliveries, and sustainment.\nConducting or coordinating review of supplier documentation (e.g., technical evaluations of proposals, acceptance test procedures, cost and schedule reports, software version description documents).\nReporting supplier status to Program Managers, GSC managers, and IPT Management.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience\nBachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related engineering experience\nPrevious Supplier Management Experience\nMust have an active US Government Top- Secret Clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)\nAbility to obtain and maintain US Government SCI clearance \nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs\nPrevious Supplier Management Experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCurrent applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.\nActive DoD Top Secret SCI clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).\nPrior CAM Experience and/or CAM Certified\nExperience with the following:Managing suppliers as part of a government/DOD contract\nEarned Value Management (EVM)\nT&M, CPFF, FFP contract types\nSupplier statement of work (SSOW) generation\nRequirements development/flow down\nContract negotiations\nTechnical evaluations of proposals\nProduct lifecycles and government acquisition process related to selling, development, LRIP/production, sustainment\nRepair management, DMSMS evaluations, MRP requirements\n\nPrevious experience working with aerospace electronic systems, Comms systems, and/or payloads.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
