This is full time onsite position that offers the 9/80 Schedule.\nWhat You’ll Get to Do:\nThe Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) Engineering & Sciences organization is seeking RF Subsystem Integration and Test engineers in the following areas: Antenna hardware testing, Electromagnetics, Computational Electromagnetics, RF/Microwave test, design and analysis.\nEngineers have the ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Work is performed exercising considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments.\nRoles and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:\nDevelopment of antenna test equipment understanding for factory phased array testing \nIntegrating new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility \nSoftware development for automating test processes and data analysis \nTroubleshooting RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems \nSupporting technicians with troubleshooting and training \nAnalyzing test data and identify early trends \nSupporting the team lead in developing root cause and corrective actions \nCollaborating with design engineering for hardware and test improvements \nSubsystem analysis including hardware from RF to digits\nSupporting performance testing, requirements verification, and more.\nDemonstrated technical ability or working knowledge in one or more of the following areas will be integral to success:\nSubsystems integration and test which includes antenna and phased array.\nAntenna range integration, test, and system integration\nActive electronically scanned arrays (AESAs)\nHighly integrated subsystems including antenna hardware\nReflectors, Reflect Arrays, Digital Beam Forming\nAntenna/RF Performance Analysis\nAntenna Measurements and Data Reduction\nSubsystem requirements (hardware and software) derivation, flow-down, and configuration\nCreating test support applications and tools using MATLAB\nConducting Test Readiness Reviews and/or Design Readiness Reviews\nConcept development of operation for integration and test activities \nExecuting subsystem and system level testing - both in engineering development and manufacturing environments\n**This role is contingent upon candidates having a current, active US Government Secret clearance.\n**This role is contingent upon Program Award.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 2 years of related experience as described above - OR - a Master's Degree with 0 years of experience. \nAn additional 4 years of experience may be considered lieu of a degree.\nKnowledge of MATLAB and its use to support data analysis.\nExperience with set-up and testing of hardware in a lab/bench-top \nenvironment\nBasic understanding of RF and antenna theory\nBasic understanding of Antenna/RF Performance Analysis\nCurrent, active US Government Secret clearance or higher\nPreferred Qualifications:\nWorking knowledge of: Antenna range integration, test, and subsystem integration\nsetting up a testing environment in Near-field (NF) ranges and Compact range (CR)\ntesting phased arrays in a NF or CR range\n\nTest software development experience in a nearfield antenna range \nExperience troubleshooting RF subsystems\nCurrent, active US Government Top Secret/SCI clearance\nActive Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
