The successful candidate will be assigned to develop and deliver SE products.\nEssential Functions:\nPerform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning and manage interface definition efforts.\nWrite complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.\nSupport interface/communication with program, functional and subsystem leads.\nMaintain Systems Engineering artifacts following proper configuration management procedures.\nCoordinate with key stakeholders to ensure proper verification and validation of Systems Engineering artifacts\nPossess strong interpersonal and leadership skills with excellent communications skills to support coordination across IPTs and with external customers.\nSolicit input from various stakeholders and team members to synthesize data and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nBasic Qualifications:\nSystems Engineer (Level 2) - Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering, OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering.\nActive USG Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation).\nAbility to obtain and maintain initial Special Access Program access via Program Access Request prior to commencement of employment or within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet business needs.\nAbility to obtain and maintain subsequent SAP/PAR access following commencement of employment to fully support the statement of work.\nExperience with Python or other scripting language\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCurrent applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.\nActive USG Top Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).\nPrevious internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)\nExperience in one or more Systems Engineering areas, including technical planning, system design development, verification and validation, cost/risk management, requirements management, or technical review support.\nFamiliarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and system architecture integration.\nFamiliarity with Systems Engineering tools, such as DOORS and Cameo\nExperience with software development\nExperience with HW/SW integration testing\nExperience with Agile execution\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
