This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.\nThe Facilities Planner - Level 2 or Level 3 will act as the primary contact for facilities, and equipment/machinery maintenance, project activities and will lead project reviews of cost, schedule and technical performance. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans, budgets and schedules. Identifies problems and develops solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing project scope.\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. Test campaigns may require 12-hour shift work.\nIn this job, you will:\nOversees and manages the facilities projects and space planning activities and serves as liaison between leadership, Business Unit, Program, and other customers.\nCoordinates employee moves, updates Archibus system, and generates monthly reports on space utilization.\nDevelop fit test plans including current and proposed layouts of furniture with power/data requirements for design build fit outs.\nInitiates Purchase Requisitions and tracks Purchase Orders, submittals, and Change Notices.\nCoordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.\nReview and estimate costs, including design, equipment, installation, labor, materials, construction, and other related costs.\nInspect or direct the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.\nForecast and report on project status, including key project metrics for Risk, Cost, and Schedule.\nProduce and implement risk mitigation and schedule recovery plans as required\nActs as primary contact with Sustainability and oversees Region Sustainability Roadmap\nThis position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.\nBasic Qualifications for Level 2:\nBachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in - OR - a Master's degree (4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted)\nNo clearance required \nExperience planning or executing activities, such as planning maintenance and construction work for facilities infrastructure and/or production equipment\nBasic Qualifications for Level 3:\nBachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of experience (4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted)\nNo clearance required\nExperience planning or executing activities, such as planning maintenance and construction work for facilities infrastructure and/or production equipment\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance\nAerospace/ Commercial industry facilities maintenance experience working with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, trade personnel\nActive Secret Clearance\nMicrosoft Project experience\nExperience working in a mission critical facility environment by participating in maintenance activities for several different trade disciplines\nAerospace/ Commercial industry facilities planning or facilities project management\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
