This position will be located on-site in San Diego, CA or Palmdale, CA supporting the Air Dominance Division.\nNote: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options.\nResponsibilities may include, but are not limited to:\nSupports Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reporting and Planning processes, including financial and cost forecasting, reporting and analysis, and profitability analysis. \nSupports development of consolidated program Long Range Strategic Plans (LRSP) and Annual Operating Plans. \nWorks with the business management teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance based on metrics and to support the management & reporting requirements for the program. \nSupport the management of program financials, including financial and cost forecasting, reporting and analysis, profitability analysis, and working capital analysis (accounts receivable forecasting, unbilled analysis, and aged receivables analysis). \nSupports review, analysis, and management of invoicing and collections. \nSupport Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation. \nCoordinate with the functional business management teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance based on metrics. \nSupport the development of presentations for, and occasionally brief to, Program, Division, Sector, and Corporate leadership. \nSupports initiatives and ad hoc requests from Program, Division, Sector, and Corporate leadership. \nInterface with business, program, and corporate personnel. \nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related field OR Master's degree.\nMust have an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior experience with Northrop Grumman financial planning, reporting and analysis.\nData and/or financial analysis experience.\nExperience with IBM Cognos and Planning Analytics. \nExperience with the Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Strategic Plan processes. \nExcel experience including Macros, MS Excel (e.g., INDEXMATCH, Pivot tables), and PowerPoint experience.\nUnderstanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR. \nWe offer phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly collaborative workplace. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
