This position requires a highly motivated and self-starting individual with relevant flight test and/or test and operations experience.\nProgram Execution Responsibilities:\nOversee the execution of ground and flight test events, managing test directors, test engineers, data scribes, etc.\nCollaborate with Navy counterparts to conduct test events, coordinating efforts with Navy test personnel.\nProvide T&E process guidance during all phases of test.\nWork in a high energy environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative team settings across all levels.\nAssists the test team in developing test plans and test cards.\nDevelop preliminary estimates of program execution, to include scope of test, test points, test plans, etc.\nBrief test planning and execution status at internal and external test status meetings, ensuring Program information is flowed down to all team members.\nCollaborate with other IPTs and lab test personnel to ensure that the T&E lifecycle is accomplished with high quality and efficiency.\nIdentify and manage risks and opportunities.\nReview Change Requests, as required, and provide impacts to IFC management\nSupport the development and bidding of new proposals and contract work to support future efforts and capabilities\nPosition requires Section Manager functional duties, responsible for 8-10 assigned direct reports. Selected candidate will report functionally to the AISRT Flight and Ground Ops Department Manager.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 9 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience.\nMust be able to work without appreciable direction, determining organizational objectives from interpretation of company policies\nActive U.S.government Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). \nExperience with Ground and Flight Testing\nTest Conductor/Test Director experience leading a team during test events.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) clearance. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nCurrent applicable U.S. government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) clearance. \nNavy Flight Test Experience\nManagement of personnel experience\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $161,100.00 - $241,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
