This position is based in Aurora, CO\nCollaborate on the design and integration of hardware systems ensuring adherence to changing requirements and specifications.\nFinalize/update drawings, support equipment moves, rack and stack of equipment and integration of computer equipment into a shelter for deployment.\nExperience/interest in power/cooling or site construction and traveling to support installation and configuration events would be a plus.\nParticipate in system-level testing and verification processes, ensuring hardware meets all specified requirements and standards.\nConduct troubleshooting and modifications on existing hardware designs to enhance performance and reliability.\nUtilize clear technical writing to document design alterations, prepare status reports, and develop design specifications and validation plans.\nMaintain a proactive attitude in meetings with cross-functional teams, demonstrating initiative and professionalism while engaging with colleagues and stakeholders.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in a STEM field. 4 additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree.\nMust have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.\nHands-on experience with hardware, design, and integration processes.\nDemonstrated knowledge of the impacts of requirement changes on hardware design.\nFamiliarity with antenna, power, RF, and fiber electrical signal principles and applications.\nThe ability to lift 50 pounds and work from elevated positions at heights above 8 feet.\nAbility to work in the field under austere weather conditions\nRequires occasional travel CONUS and OCONUS to support field activities and hardware deployment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in a STEM field\nKnowledge of electronic components and their applications in communication systems.\nExperience with hardware design, integration, and developing/executing test processes.\nPrevious experience in a fast-paced engineering environment with a focus on field support operations.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
