In this role, you will contribute to safeguarding critical technologies and supporting our national security mission within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.\nThis position is based in San Diego, CA, where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable security requirements and help maintain a robust security posture across our operations.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nMust be able to adapt to a fast paced and challenging work environment and must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills \nSupport the day- to-day security functions of multiple Special Access Programs (SAPs) as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)\nSupport the broader team with administration of the JADE Database (50%)\nResponsibilities include all aspects of program security with special emphasis on Personnel Security, education & training, document control and accountability, physical security\nMust be willing to work with limited supervision and have the ability to make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems and provide focused solutions\nResponsible for interpreting and applying manuals outlining regulations and establishing procedures for handling, storing, and maintenance of records and for granting personnel and visitors’ access to restricted records and materialsConduct security education classes and security audits, investigating security violations and preparing reports detailing preventive and corrective actions\nMust have a working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manuals (5205.07), SAP Volumes 1-4, and security classification guides\nMust be able to work closely with program managers and other domestic defense industry partners\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelors Degree with 2 years of Industrial Security experience or an additional 4 years of Industrial Security experience with be considered in-lieu of a degree\n5 years of experience with NISPOM, and SAP Volumes 1-4\nExperience with JADE and DISS\nCandidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelors Degree\nExperience working in an SAP environment\nWorking knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals\nAbility to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
