You deliver excellence, strive for continuous improvement and respond vigorously to change.\nResponsibilities Include:\nAssures Division export / import program complies with U.S. government regulations and internal procedures \nManages a team of global trade professionals of varying levels of experience\nServes as Lead Empowered Official \nRepresents Division on complex contracts or projects associated with export and import regulations and company policy \nProficient in assessment and application of export and import regulations and commodity jurisdiction and classification determinations \nInteracts with senior internal and external personnel on significant and sensitive matters \nMaintains applicable trade compliance records and provides reports in accordance with various regulatory requirements and international trade agreements\nOversees division metrics supporting corporate and sector executive leadership reporting \nRepresents the Division in initiatives and projects \nExercises good judgment seeking leadership support and guidance, including collaborating on decisions that have high visibility or impact potential\nThe ideal candidate will be experienced with providing guidance on, authorizing and auditing/assessing ITAR and EAR transactions. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.\nBasic Required Qualifications\nMust have one of the following:High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years of international trade compliance (export, import and/or customs) experience\nBachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 plus years of international trade compliance experience\nMaster’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of international trade compliance experience\n\nProficiency in the ITAR and EAR, including making jurisdiction and classification determinations\nExperience as an Empowered Official \nExperience in effectively applying U.S. Government regulatory requirements in complex scenarios, analyzing and solving complex problems\nExperience leading and managing a team\nSkilled at adapting to rapidly evolving priorities, with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting schedule and quality requirements, and exercise judgment about when to escalate potential conflicts to leadership\nMust have an active DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)\nMust be able to travel (domestic and international) as needed (up to 10% of the time)\nPreferred qualifications:\nDemonstrated performance in working in a fast-paced environment while delivering a quality work product\nDemonstrated highly collaborative work style, success in resolving difficult situations and effective communication with all levels of stakeholders\nExperience with OCR's EASE software and SAP/GTS\nExperience in Direct Commercial Sale and Foreign Military Sales export requirements\nKnowledge of Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure (TSFD) process\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
