This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.\nThe Inventory Material Control Support Specialist compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions of needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Also, prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.\nIn this job, you will:\nPerform a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse.\n\nExamine stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; and prepares stock use reports.\n\nDetermine methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space. Exclude shipping and/or receiving clerks.\n\nPay attention to detail, have the ability to trouble shoot as needed,\n\nWork in a team environment or independently, lift 30 lbs.,\n\nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)\n\nThe ability to prioritize and multitask daily workload.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience.\n\nNo clearance required to start\n\n0-1 years of experience in inventory, storeroom, warehouse, or other related fields.\n\nMust be available to work standard 1st shift hours\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment.\n\nDeltek Costpoint experience\n\nMicrosoft Office (Excel and Outlook) experience.\n\nCompiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
