As an Infrastructure Field Engineer Level 5 located in Honolulu, Hawaii you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.\nJob Description\nWill work in a customer facility as part of a small on-site technical team supporting operational users, with strong customer-facing communication skills to effectively engage operators, analysts, engineers, and senior government leadership (including SES-level audiences).\nConducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.\nWill identify and assess mission gaps in capability, data flow, system behavior, or functionality, and clearly articulate findings and recommendations.\nTroubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.\nAssesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.\nConducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customers organization.\nWill debug problems in data flows and provide clear technical feedback to next-tier support or engineering teams.\nWill work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic operational environment.\nWill work in a customer facility as part of a small on-site technical team supporting operational users.\nWill be required to travel up to 10%, based on program needs.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree with 12 years of professional experience - OR - Master’s degree with 10 years of professional experience - OR - PhD with 8 years of professional experience\nMust have an active TS/SCI clearance at time of application and be eligible to obtain and maintain any required SCI, SAP, and polygraph access upon starting the position.\nExperience serving as the primary technical interface to a customer, user community, or mission operations team while working on an Operations Team in a customer facility.\nExperience administering or supporting Windows and Linux environments\nExperience supporting mission users in an embedded operations, field support, or customer-facing technical role\nExperience administering or supporting Windows and Linux environments\nExperience with software installation, system integration, and troubleshooting in operational or fielded environments\nPreferred Qualifications\nActive Full Scope Polygraph\nActive SAP eligibility/clearance\nExperience supporting customers in DoD secure environments, including compartmented or mission-focused operational settings\nFamiliarity with data flows, data schemas, and machine-to-machine communications, including the ability to trace, analyze, and troubleshoot issues across system interfaces\nDemonstrated understanding in all-source analysis concepts and the ability to understand mission context, operational workflows, and user objectives\nExperience troubleshooting and maintaining Kubernetes-based containerized applications\nExperience with Windows Server, Windows workstation environments, and Linux system administration\nExperience administering Active Directory, including users, groups, GPOs, and authentication\nExperience configuring, integrating, or troubleshooting distributed systems, mission applications, or service interfaces\nExperience monitoring and maintaining cybersecurity tools such as endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, or SIEM capabilities\nExperience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network and encryption devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and TACLANE or similar Type 1 devices\nFamiliarity with DoD cybersecurity requirements such as STIGs, RMF, ACAS, and HBSS\nPrior field engineering, systems integration, or mission support experience in austere, remote, or high-tempo operational environments\nDemonstrated ability to understand operator mission needs and translate them into technical actions, issue resolution, and capability feedback\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $139,700.00 - $209,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
