Outstanding organizational and leadership skills are required to succeed in this role. This position will be located in Arizona at our Gilbert Facility. The successful candidate will fill the role of Section Manager for a team of Electrical Engineers, in a dual-hat role, responsible for both section management (up to 20% of time) and program/project or other direct technical responsibilities (80% or more of time).\nJob responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nFunctional Responsibilities Include:\nStaffing support to space systems program\nConducting quarterly performance evaluations and annual reviews\nProviding technical leadership and guidance to the staff\nManaging indirect, program direct, and capital needs\nProfessional development and mentoring of direct reports\nSupporting Functional Homeroom initiatives and projects which include process improvement, Event Response Teams, Corrective and Preventive Action implementation, & Proposal efforts\nTechnical Responsibilities Include:\nDemonstrated ability in System Level Electrical Test and Evaluation Understands NG test engineering practices and principles\nUnderstands both electrical circuits and software within the flight hardware and EGSE\nProvide support/guidance on test analysis, design reviews, and Test readiness reviews\nExperience/knowledge of generating test procedures, electrical test equipment, electronics troubleshooting, and data reviews.\nIn depth knowledge of Integration and Test process’, flows, in respect to electrical testing needs from factory processing through Launch campaigns\nGeneral frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience - OR - Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience. \nRequires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope\nMinimum of 3 years of proven leadership experience on a project and/or team\nExperience in the Aerospace and Defense industry\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of spacecraft sub-assemblies and/or integration and test\nExperience as an electrical/electronics engineer, Test Conductor, or System Test Engineer\nProgramming experience with any of the following languages: Python, C, C++, Perl\nExperience as a functional manager\nExperience in space systems and space system production, integration and test\nExperience in Program project management\nAs a leader with integrity, you ensure ethical conduct, balanced results, and partner satisfaction.
