To be successful, the manager must demonstrate a highly engaging leadership style, have excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nWhat You'll Get to Do:\nManage manufacturing Test Engineering support for the systems factory.\nTest procedures development and maintenance over manufacturing test operations.\nContinuing process improvement based on data driven metrics.\nInterface with and build relationships across organizations in Salt Lake City, Woodland Hills and other NGC sites.\nOrganization representative to program office and external customer as needed.\nSupervise a team of engineers including but not limited to performance evaluations, goal setting, and developing a strategic vision for the team.\nThe ideal candidate must have good presentation skills with the ability to communicate written and verbally, demonstrate the ability to lead technical projects, including project scope management, budget, schedule, and overall execution.\nBasic qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or directly related STEM discipline with 8 years of engineering experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years of engineering experience.\nExperience collaborating with teams and/project leadership.\n2 or more years of experience with leading individuals or projects.\nExperience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience with database queries techniques.\nExperience with standard Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSAP experience.\nPeople Management experience.\nAutomated test experience both in terms of equipment design and test process implementation\nExperience in a high regulatory environment such DoD, FAA or FDA.\nExperience using data for decision making.\nRoot Cause Corrective Actions experience.\nSix Sigma experience.\nExperience with electromechanical assembly.\nWhat We Can Offer You:\nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
